Name: Jafar
Age: 48 (I think that's actually canon)
Basic Appearance:
Jafar is extremely tall and thin, often towering over his peers with his dark, intimidating figure. Almond-shaped eyes are brown, though they often appear black in the distance. Face is long and thin, with a pointed chin, though it is covered in dark, twisted goatee. While expressive at times, Jafar can easily mask his emotions with a blank stare, or a manipulative smile. Regarding his wardrobe, Jafar dresses in black and mahogany Middle-Easter robes, complete with a matching turban. While the clothing limits quick movement, it also deceives his appearance, making the sorcerer appear ‘bigger’ than he actually is (Example: curved/pointed shoulder spikes, large turban, puffy sleeves, etc).
Film: Aladdin

Personality:
Jafar desires an impossible amount of power and he'll stop at nothing to achieve it. He wants a great status and it always help to obtain a great deal of magical power in order to keep people from stepping out of line. Jafar will never hesitate to harm/torture/kill a person (whether male or female, old or young), especially if that person is deemed a threat. Despite the magnificent power he retains now, Jafar spent the majority of his life within boundaries, thus strengthened his lust for power and developed a manipulative streak. He will lie, cheat, and trick others into retrieving items and carrying out disgraceful deeds. Another well-known trait is arrogance. Jafar's ego is enough to consume half the galaxy. He views himself as a worthy individual, deserving high status and control over mankind. While Jafar sometimes belittles women, he considers Nasira a rare exception and respects her a great deal. Unlike his twin, however, he usually keeps his affectionate thoughts to himself, not wanting to appear soft (hence some insecurity, despite his enormous ego). In short, Jafar is one twisted sorcerer.
History:
Playing the part as the Sultan’s Grand Vizier, Jafar plotted against his master and made plans to seize the throne. Thanks to Aladdin, his scheme was foiled and he eventually ended up dead by the street rat’s hand. To make matters worse, Jafar’s close friend and companion, Iago, betrayed him and joined Aladdin, fed up with the sorcerer’s demands. Alone and deceased, Jafar desperately searched for a way to live again. At first, he turned to Hades and the Underworld God resurrected him, with the condition that Jafar helps him defeat Hercules. Together, they planned to destroy both heroes by fooling them into fighting each other. The plan failed and Jafar ended up dead again, while Hades couldn’t be destroyed.
Believing he could send Nasira out to ‘find a way to bring him back’, the sorcerer found that he underestimated his sister’s over-the-top vindictive nature. Angered by Aladdin’s interference and the fact that he murdered Jafar, Nasira expressed that she wanted to kill both Aladdin and his ‘infernal’ genie. A concerned and reluctant Jafar warned her about Aladdin, telling her not to underestimate him and even used himself as an example. (‘Don’t get excited, sister. Beware of Aladdin and his infernal genie. I underestimated them once before and paid dearly’) In the end, Nasira’s elaborate plan failed and Aladdin disrupted the resurrection ritual. Believing Jafar was dead, a weakened Nasira fled. Jafar, however, was alive but badly hurt. Once Aladdin left and claimed victory, Jafar left the area and eventually caught up with his sister. Together, they plan to take vengence on Aladdin and destroy everything dear to him.
Family: Nasira (younger twin sister)
Friends: Iago (formerly), Nasira, left to RP
Enemies: Aladdin, Jasmine, Genie, Iago, Abu, Carpet, Sultan
Sample Post:
Jafar knew the moment he set foot in Agrabah, he would be attacked by that flea-bitten street rat. It had been quite some time since their last encounter and while Jafar desired revenge, he was in no hurry to run into the urchin. Not without some kind of plan. To rush in blindly would result in his demise and Jafar knew that in order to win, he had to outsmart Aladdin as well as surpass him in physical strength. Not only was he armed with a scimitar, but he also had several friends to back him up-including that treacherous Iago. Jafar didn’t have any ‘friends’ save for Nasira, or even minions. Due to his death, he had to start out with close to nothing. The majority of his powers had been lost and he was somewhat weakened. It would take time and patience to regain his powers. Sadly, Jafar was never the patient type and preferred instant gratification.
Casting a contemptuous glare to the city before him, Jafar turned and headed towards his hideout. "Soon, Aladdin, soon." he promised. "I will have my revenge and you will rue the day you crossed my path!"
