Name: Penny
Age: 14, canine years
Basic Appearance: A fairly average-looking Dalmatian puppy, Penny’s most distinctive feature is that, unlike many of her family, she also has spots on her chest as well as the rest of her body. She wears a blue collar.
Film: 101 Dalmatians
Photo:
Personality: Penny has two major distinctive personality traits that differentiate her from her siblings. The first is that she absolutely idolises her father; the second is that she’s a rather dictatorial figure, especially around her brothers and sisters. She likes to be in control of the situation, and can often be found telling her siblings – both by birth and adoption – what she thinks they ought to be doing, which often leads into arguments when they don’t agree. Penny does have a softer side, however, although not many people have had the privilege of witnessing it.
History: Penny was born to Pongo and Perdita as one of the eldest of their litter of puppies. Within a few months of their birth, all fifteen were kidnapped by Cruella De Vil, who wanted their fur for coats, although they (along with the other 84 pups there) were rescued in time by Sergeant Tibs and Pongo. Once they returned home, their pets welcomed the rest of the pups into the family as well.
Shortly afterwards, the large family and their human pets moved to a farm in the country, although Cruella showed up to kidnap them again - to make artwork with their skins. This time, it was Penny's brother, Patch, who saved them. After that, life on the farm was fairly peaceful, save for the odd attempt by Cruella to steal it, although Penny began to become dissatisfied. She liked bossing her siblings around, but with so many pups around now, her voice was going unheard.
Family: Pongo and Perdita, Lucky, Rolly, Pepper, Patch, Cadpig, 9 more siblings and 84 adopted siblings.
Friends: Patch, Patches, (hopefully) Rebecca
Enemies: Mooch and his gang
Sample Post: Dark eyes narrowed. It would be safe to say that Penny was not having a good day, and this latest development was hardly an improvement. “You’re going where?” she asked darkly, although she had certainly heard clearly enough the first time.
Patches shifted his paws uncomfortably under her glare. Penny didn’t like making the only pup she would admit to feeling something for feel so awkward, but she was determined to keep him out of trouble, even at the cost of his own happiness.
Seeming to gather his courage, Patches faced her. “I was just going to see Wiz down by Hiccup Hole.” He replied, sounding more determined now. No doubt he just thought of her as the girl who wanted to spoil his fun, although Penny really did have his best interests at heart.
“Wizzer always hangs around with Mooch – you know those guys are trouble!” her voice sounded closer to pleading than she would have liked, and she consciously forced herself to sound more stern and less desperate. “You know better than to hang around any of Mooch’s gang.”
A pause.
“Don’t you?” she added forcefully.
