(ooc: January 5. Open to all dalmatian characters and meant to be a proper introduction to the farm for Rebecca.)
Lost, tired, hungry, and aching all over from the long trek she had had to make, Rebecca was just about ready to accept shelter in any shape or form. She still didn't quite understand how she had ended up so close to the entrance of De Vil Ville, or how she had been pulled out of her home, but the blue-eyed girl was beginning to have little reason to doubt that she couldn't go home. She hated that she couldn't go home. Rebecca wanted to be back home with her parents. Who would keep an eye on Judge De Vil without her? It was a very disheartening thought. For the moment, though, Rebecca wanted to find a place to stay. She had been going on instinct alone and following a path in the hopes of finding wherever Lucky lived. He was one of her only friends. He could tell her where she was.
Upon seeing that a farm wasn't too far from her, Rebecca picked up her pace a bit. Almost there. You can rest as soon as you get there. she told herself. Rebecca didn't even notice the dirt she was kicking up from running toward her ultimate goal. She hadn't noticed how dirty her fur and collar appeared. All she cared about was the fact that a place to rest was almost in her grasp. As soon as she came through the farm entrance Rebecca allowed herself to crumple into an exhausted heap on the ground. Her tongue lolled out of her mouth as she began panting quickly in an attempt to catch her breath.
"Och... tha' was quite the trek..." Rebecca panted. She could feel her paws throbbing from all the walking and the last sprint she had gone through. Rebecca wondered silently if anyone would happen upon her as she lay there. Somehow it wouldn't surprise her if they did happen upon her. She had just waltzed into a place that wasn't necessarily her home without so much as a word. How would they react to seeing her there?

Pongo had been out for a walk. He'd had a nice chat with Tripod, made sure Jewel didn't fool around in Anita's jewelry anymore, caught Dipstick sneaking into Nanny's pantry again and finally made his way to a quiet spot with no spots. He laughed at his little joke and his thoughts. It was a lovely day for a walk. He wished Perdita would have joined him but she was busy. He shrugged. Oh well.
He was approaching the area where Rebecca was. When he saw the strange pup he gave a hum and tilt of his head. Who was she? Not one of his adopted pups, none of them had heart shaped spots.
"How strange," he remarked, "You there! Young lady! Can I help you?"

Rebecca, tired though she was from wandering, lifted her head from the ground and stopped panting long enough to look up at the older dalmatian that had addressed her. Blue eyes were filled with surprise at his presence. If she weren't mistaken, she would have assumed that Pongo was somehow related to Lucky. He looked an awful lot like him, after all. Feeling more than a little embarrassed about her current state, what with her mussed and dirty fur and ragged appearance, Rebecca sheepishly rose to her aching paws again and met Pongo's gaze. She felt very small in his presence.
"Aye... I believe ye can." Rebecca replied at last. "Fer ye see, I find myself a bit lost a' this moment... and I cannae say I know the area well." she explained, moving forward just a tiny bit to shorten the distance between her and Pongo. She had to admit that he looked like a reasonable dalmatian. Kind, understanding... not unlike her own father. She did miss him terribly even though she had only been in what she assumed was Lucky's time period for a short while. "All I really want is a place ta stay fer the time bein'... at least until I get muh bearin's." Rebecca said. She did want to ask if Pongo knew Lucky, but was just a bit afraid as well. What if the question of how she knew him came up? How would she answer?

Pongo put a soft smile on his maw as he approached the young dal who was so strange looking in her appearance. He wanted to make her feel at home as she looked more than a tad lost. "You are more than welcome to stay here with us," he said, "Why I'm sure my people wouldn't mind your presence and I know my children won't." He chuckled softly.
"What is your name, little one? You may call me Pongo."

"Muh name is Rebecca, sir." Rebecca replied, bowing her head politely as she spoke and feeling her tail was just a tad. She did feel happier knowing she would be welcomed, and had been welcomed by who appeared to be the head male canine of the farm, with open paws. "And thank ye... it has been a long trek and I am very appreciative." she added. It was only then that she noticed her dirtied fur and ragged appearance. A slight blush formed on her face when she realized how she appeared. This was going to require quite the bath to remove the dirt from her heart-spotted fur. As for her frilly collar... well, she was uncertain of whether or not the dirt would come out of it.
Pongo had mentioned his family, and that had gotten Rebecca's interest. So there were other dalmatians living on the farm? That was good to know. "I woul' nae mind meetin' yer family if we have the chance." Rebecca admitted. With it being such a big farm, she was fairly certain they would run into at least one or two other spotted dogs. She felt more at home already.

His smile grew warmer as he planted his rear on the ground taking in the ragged appearance of the Dalmatian. She was a mess to be sure but there was nothing wrong with her that a bath couldn't fix. He would love to have given her a new collar as well. If she were to be living on the farm she would need one to keep Cruella away anyway.
When she mentioned his family he laughed. "With ninety nine puppies on this farm I'm sure that you will meet them at some point. Ninety nine puppies and my mate, Perdita. You are welcome to stay as long as you wish young lady."

"Dad."
Penny wasn't in the best mood ever as she marched up and dropped to her rear beside her father. She'd been trying all morning to make her voice heard, to get back her role of being the 'little miss dictator' of the family, but with so many pups around, no-one on the farm paid much attention to her any more, and Penny hated it. She didn't make any attempt to voice her irritation, however; Dad probably had more important things on his mind.
It took a long moment before Penny noticed the other girl present, but when she did, she couldn't help but stare. Her spot pattern was so... unusual. Distinctive. And the frilly collar only added to that effect. Add in the large, expresive blue eyes and... well, in spite of the dirt in her fur, this was the prettiest pup Penny had seen for a long time.
"Who is this?" she asked Pongo, so distracted by Rebecca's apperance that she didn't even think to direct the question to the pup herself.

Rebecca had been prepared to voice her inquiry about there being ninety-nine pups plus the two parents on the farm, but the arrival of another dalmatian, a pretty young female pup at that, distracted her. She must have been related to Pongo. There was no doubt in Rebecca's mind that she was one of the pups that he had mentioned. The petite girl found herself looking at Penny as she looked at her and felt herself becoming rather intrigued by the other girl. Her appearance was so simple... a small girl with a simple blue collar and nothing particularly spectacular about her spot pattern. Having only ever seen the dalmatians around De Vil Ville, which consisted of herself and her family, Rebecca silently admitted that Penny was a rather pretty dalmatian. Why that was, though, she wasn't entirely certain.
"Muh... muh name's Rebecca. It's nice ta meet ye, lass." Rebecca greeted softly, finally deciding to sit down as well so that she didn't have to stand on her aching paws much longer. "I was jus' talkin' ta this fine gentledog, an' he was sayin' how there was a great number of us dalmatians around here. Are ye... one of the ninety-nine he mentioned?" Rebecca asked. She felt it was a good enough way to ask if Penny was one of the dalmatians that lived on the farm. The answer seemed simple enough, seeing as Penny was a dalmatian herself and around Rebecca's own age, but she wanted to make sure before she jumped to any conclusions.

Pongo was happy that Penny was the first to arrive. His sometimes brash but always reasonable pup would be a great companion to show Rebecca around the farm. His smile grew a little wider.
"Penny this is a new guest, Rebecca," he said, "She will be staying with us for a while. Rebecca this is my daughter, Penny."

"He's my dad!" Penny replied to Rebecca's question, her voice carrying an evident touch of pride. To her still-young mind, there were few things better than being Pongo's daughter. No dog was better than dad; and the fact that he'd rescued them all from Hell Hall while Thunderbolt had turned out to be a fake had only convinced her further of the truth of the statement.
Girl smiled up at Pongo as he introduced her and Rebecca, before turning to survey the pretty scottish pup again. "It's nice to meet you," she added, both politely and truthfully, before her curiosity overcame her manners again. "Where are you from?" she asked, tilting her head inquisitively to a slight angle as she spoke.

Ah... well, that certainly explained the resemblance. Clearly Penny was proud of her heritage. Rebecca honestly couldn't blame her for that, though. Pongo seemed like a very nice dalmatian and definitely welcoming enough for Rebecca's tastes. "Ah... I see. Tha' does make sense. I can see the resemblance." Rebecca said, deciding to voice her thoughts. She felt at home already with such a warm welcome, even if Lucky wasn't present. Rebecca supposed she shouldn't have expected him to be present, anyway. What were the chances that he would be on the farm, anyway?
At the question of where she came from, she faltered just a little bit. How would she explain that she was from a different time period entirely? Furthermore, would anyone believe her if she did explain it? "Well... I suppose the best way ta explain it would be ta say tha' I'm not from around here. Ye see, muh home is... quite a long way from here. I only found muhself here because I got lost." she explained. That seemed like the best way to go about the explanation. It at least kept the name De Vil Ville out of it.

Penny's muzzle creased sympathetically. She remembered the feeling of hopelessness, of wondering if she'd ever see her home again, from the time they'd been kidnapped by the badduns, and she figured Rebecca must have been feeling much the same way. "Someone'll come here looking for you soon," she reassured the younger pup, unaware of the fact that her words were untrue and that Rebecca would know that even though Penny herself didn't.

Even though Rebecca knew it was unlikely she would return to DeVil Ville any time soon, she appreciated Penny's kind words. To go home to her family would be wonderful, but at the same time she was hesitant. She did rather like the farm even though she had only been there a few minutes. It just felt so... homey. "I'm sure you're right, Penny. Fer now, stayin' here will nae be such a bad thing. I do rather like it here." Rebecca admitted.
"If ye dinae mind muh askin', what is there ta do here? It seems like such a lovely place... I cannae imagine it would be too dull." she said after a moment. With so many dogs, there was bound to be something going on a lot of the time. It seemed like things were quiet for the moment, though. Maybe there was just a lull in activities?
