Basic Appearance: Ray is a small firefly with bright red hair, a slight goatee, and bright green eyes. He appears a bit beaten up, particularly his wings which have several holes and a few tears in them. He also doesn't have very many teeth, and the ones he does have don't appear to be in the best of repair. His most favorite tooth has been chipped.

Personality: Ray is a rather easy-going sort of fellow, preferring to go with the flow of things rather than worrying about every little thing. He is quite kind and friendly and is known for his fierce loyalty to his friends, but said loyalty also has led to Ray becoming quite reckless. He's willing to do anything for the sake of his friends, even if it means getting himself put into dangerous situations.
History: Ray lived a normal life of a firefly, sticking in the bayous of Louisiana and living a pretty laid back life. This changed when he met Tiana, Naveen, and Louis one night. He befriended the three quickly and agreed to help them find their way to Mama Odie because they needed her help. He stuck with them even after they met with Mama Odie, and played a big part in helping to defeat Dr. Facilier by stealing his talisman from him and delivering it to Tiana. In the process of trying to stall Facilier and his shadow friends, Ray was gravely injured and died not long after being brought to Tiana and Naveen who revealed that they intended on staying together. Ray rejoined his beloved Evangeline shortly after dying, and everything seemed to be perfect after that.
Things changed one day when, out of the blue, Ray found himself pulled out of the sky and away from Evangeline. Shortly after he was brought back to life, Ray discovered that things were surprisingly peaceful. There was no sign of Dr. Facilier, no sign of his shadow friends... everything was calm. So... why was he brought back to life? Ray found out that various villains had been brought back and, growing tired of how peaceful things had become, wanted to exact revenge on the ones that had killed them and bring about chaos to the world. Ray decided to locate his friends and decided that he should help them before something bad happened.

Sample Post: Ray could hardly believe it. What he was seeing just didn't seem real to him, especially because the last thing he could remember was his last moments before joining Evangeline. Where was he? Why was he there? He didn't pretend to know. Strangely, though, he wasn't upset. He felt horrible about being suddenly pulled away from Evangeline, but the calm atmosphere made it just a tiny bit easier to accept. Only a tiny bit, though.
"Ah gotta find out what's goin' on here. Dis just doesn't seem... normal." Ray murmured. Doubt was evident in his eyes as he thought over what might have happened. Whatever it was, it couldn't have been good. Despite how peaceful things seemed, Ray had a feeling that it wouldn't last.
