A Day in the Pridelands

[Kopa]

(January second, open to all pridelanders.)

"Kiara! Where are you?" Kopa shouted, frustration pricking his golden pelt as he trotted through the tall grass of the pridelands. He looked behind a nearby rock. "Kiara?"
Nothing. He sat down and rolled his amber eyes in annoyance. Where was his little sister at anyway? He felt like he had to keep an eye on her every second of the day or else she'd run off. Dad can go find her if he wants. He thought grumpily, turning around to head back to Pride Rock.

[Kiara]

Meanwhile, Kiara was chasing a bright green grasshopper in the tall grass. Whenever she tried to get close to it, it hopped away. As she chased after the poor little bug, she giggled happily. "Come back! I just wanna play!" Kiara said with a slight smirk.

The grasshopper stopped, and Kiara crouched down and got ready to pounce. "Mighty hunter corners her-" She was interrupted after hearing Kopa shouting her name. She rolled her eyes and stopped looking at the grasshopper for a second. Her brother can wait. She had a bug to catch. She looked at the spot where the grasshopper was, and it was gone. It must've hopped away when she wasn't looking. "Oh great." Kiara said in a sarcastic tone.

[Sarafina]

Sarafina came in . She saw Kiara and Kopa her sweet little grandchildren and said to them : "Hello Kopa and Kiara , How are you .?" Sarafina asked and waitied for them to replie . Meanwhile Sarafina just lay down in the Grass . The dark cream lioness , just waited nothing else .

[Mega]

a brown tiped tail flicks back and forth as the huge male lion crouches down i the tall grass his red colored eyes are trained on the young prince. Mega smirks as he lunges out of the tall grass and lightly lands over top of the prince "gotcha!" Mega laughs stareing down at his indented prey his front paws/legs spred wide with Kopa beween them

[Kopa]

"What the-?!"
Before he knew what was going on, Kopa fell to the ground with a thud, a huge lion looming over him. He eyes widened in terror. What would he do? Stand up for himself or beg for mercy? Of course the young cub went with what along with his own desicion.
"No! Please don't eat me!" he pleaded, in a very un prince-like manner. "Eat my sister instead! I bet she'd taste better anyway!"

[Mega]

"hah ha! now why would i eat such royalty?" Mega steps back off of Kopa "i honerd to be standing in the prestents of such a royal lion young Kopa" Mega sits down still grinning like a madman at Kopa. "you remember me don't you Kopa?" he shakes his mane free of dust and dirt "i'm Mega a friend of your dad"

[Kopa]

Kopa scrambled to his paws, giving his fur a couple of licks to get the dust off. "Yeah well, My sister wouldn't make a very good queen would she?" he responded to Mega's compliment. Where was she anyway? He looked the big lion up and down, frowning. "If your a friend of my dad, how come I've never seen you before?" The young prince was pretty sure he knew all the pridelanders, Well the lionesses at least.

[Mega]

"Kopa" the lion snickers although he had a certien tone about it "it's because i come from a neigboring pride a few miles away from pride rock." Mega rolls over on his side now letting the rays of the sun soak into his fur "ahh" he sighs "some of the lionesses might know of Sabini"

[Sarafina]

Sarafina got up and strached . Sarafina saw in her dark green eyes a ginger male lion , Did Sarafina know him , and she asked the Ginger male lion :"Do I know you ? You look familiar ." Sarafina said to the Ginger lion .

[Mega]

"do you know me? ptfff ha ha ha!" the lion waves a paw at the elderly lioness "Sarafina please, it's Mega you should know me" the tan lion rolls his eyes playfully. "after all i think you or some of your friends talked to Sabini i think she mentioned something about you" Mega circles around Sarafina inspecting her.

[Sarafina]

"Oh well she did ?" Sarafina asked him and smirked then said she raised an eyebrow to him and she ran and tried to pin him , well like a game . Sarafina smiled at Mega and giggled . Sarafina liked Mega , but now Sarafina is bored .

[Mega]

"whoa! Easy old girl" mega said stepping out of the elderly lions way as she tried to pin him "aren't we a bit to old for that?" he frowns slightly afraid that she would strain herself then turns to Kopa and whispers "is she always like this to males?" his eyes flick back to look at Sarafina.

[Kopa]

Kopa, meanwhile, had been rolling on the ground laughing like a hyena. "I...I'm sorry." he laughed, attempting to try pulling himself together. He smiled good-naturedly up at Mega. "Nah, I've never seen grandma like this. Then again, I've never seen grandma do that much anyway." he answered. Although it was funny, it was slightly strange to see her take a liking to a lion his dad's age.

[Sarafina]

Sarafina giggled to Mega , "Sorry I did it Mega ...." Sarafina said to Mega , She smiled a little to Kopa and Mega and walked away to hunt .

[Mega]

"stop that giggling your freaking me out Sarafina" the male says taking a step back jokingly he then turns to Kopa "she never gets out much does she?" he mutters dryly to the prince and playfully hit's Kopa lightly with a paw in the shoulder.
