Aleu felt the hat fall over her eyes for a second. She let out a little laugh and pushed it back on top of her head. She took the map and put a tawny paw up to her forehead in a salute. "Aye Aye, Captain!" she said, taking the map. She drew in her breath and blew on the sail as hard as she could. She was so focused on supposedly making the "Borismobile" go faster, she didn't notice that they were already at the same speed as her father.
She glanced at the wolf-dog and a smile suddenly lit up on her face. "Hi daddy!" she said happily, placing her paws back onto the edge of the raft. "Look at how fast we're going!" She looked at Dakota for a moment. She knew her mother wouldn't approve, but the wolf-like pup was still pretty steamed at her sister. She cast the red pup a quick smirk, only visible to Dakota. She turned back to Boris. She picked up a golf club and smiled at him brightly. "C'mon! We can beat 'em!" she called over the wind. Using the "oar", she put it into the sand and pushed as hard as she could. Giving them an extra boost.

That smirk. It went just beyond enough. No. Alue wouldn't be faster than her. She couldn't. Dakota suddenly felt her blood boil through her vein and, with a growl, she started dashing faster, as fast as her body would let her, making a short distance between her and her sister. Aleu's "being better than anyone else" attitude had to end here. Dakota ran faster and faster, her tongue lolling out of her mouth with loud pants. Intil a rock got into her way, that was.
The poor husky tripped over the rock and rolled on herself for a couple of times before finally stopping, dizzy and full of pain. She rubbed her head with one of her front paws and slowly got up, struggling not to fall. "She ruins EVERYTHING." The pup stated, speaking to herself. She cursed her sister under her breath and tried to get her stability back so she could just walk away from her so called family.
